Penna Ink is now a vendor on Grey Likes Weddings a fabulous resource to help you plan your special day.
We love Grey because of the variety of topics that they cover. They have so many resources, tips and of course beautiful photography! Our favorite part is how they display real weddings. You can see a glimpse into each happy couple’s big day. From the dress to the decor, there is no doubt you will be inspired for your wedding.
Now even though I originally hail from Loooong Island, Pennsylvania has always felt like home. My husband is from a small town outside of Reading, PA where his family still lives today. To show my appreciation for his family and hometown, I designed the “I Pretzel Reading” t-shirt. The Reading area is home to numerous pretzel companies and as Long Islanders know a good bagel, Pennsylvanians definitely know a good pretzel!
Thanks Berks County Living Magazine for the nod and for celebrating Reading.
Penna Ink is in the process of moving to WordPress!
In the meantime, you can visit Penna Ink on etsy to view the latest stationery and apparel items available for purchase!

Ruffled is a great blog that displays beautiful weddings from all over! Enjoy and get some great ideas for your big day!

Choosing your save the date can be stressful! It is an introduction to your guests setting the tone for the whole wedding. But have no fear! Here are a few tips I have learned along the way:
1. Research, Research and Research Some More! There are TONS of wedding stationery websites out there. Take your time and look through to find examples of what you like and what you don’t like. You could like a font from one and colors from another! When you create your own Save the Date think of it like a puzzle and you are just putting together the pieces.
2. Be Creative! Save the Dates aren’t as formal as they used to be, so have fun! Here we have a magnet resembling a ticket to a concert neatly placed in a larger card that shares a wedding website for guests to visit. This was created for Katie and Paul by Penna Ink. It was a lot of fun to design and very much a collaborative effort between Penna Ink and the couple!
3. Stay Calm and Carry On! Remember, this is supposed to be fun! Leave yourself plenty of time so there isn’t a mad dash a week before you need to send them out. Remember, sending them 6-9 months before the wedding is the norm but if you have a destination wedding or you wedding is on a major holiday give your guests a little extra time to plan their arrangements. Once you have all of your research done sit back and think. Get family and friend’s opinions to help you choose. Enlist an artsy friend or hire a graphic designer to figure it out for you!
Sometimes people hesitate to purchase their wedding invitations over the internet. I can see why but here is a customer that was truly satisfied working with Penna Ink.
“Penna Ink aka Emily was by far the most helpful Etsy seller I’ve worked with. She responded to all my emails quickly and I was extremely pleased with how well she addressed my questions and concerns. When I received the invite in the mail it exceeded all my expectations (The photos do not do it justice!). The paper is such great quality with a faint texture that I loved and I was so impressed by the print job. I would highly recommend Penna Ink to my friends and family! Thank you so much for helping me out!”
This customer and I communicated via email or etsy chat and together we created exactly what she was looking for!
